Violeiro Elétrico
The Violeiro Elétrico was designed and produced by Baros. Inspired by the traditional vestments of the cowboys of the Pernambuco sertão, the space suits used by astronauts, and the trio elétrico de Dodô e Osmar (adapted truck with sound equipment for the presentation of live music through loudspeakers); it created the Violeiro Elétrico, a costume/walking stage/artistic installation.
This art project was custom designed for the poet Clayton Barros to be used as a walking stage willing to make possible the accomplishment of several skits, shows, performances, and commercial works. Just as the traditional troubadour, the Violeiro Elétrico was designed so that the artist could be on the same level as his interlocutors, aiming to facilitate his contact with the audience, and making it possible for him to walk around places where pedestrians can normally do so.
The costume includes 6 triaxial speakers that emit the mid and high frequencies, plus a subwoofer for bass emission. It has the autonomy of three hours of use and a bi-volt charger that allows its total recharge in just over 45 minutes. The equipment also works connected to a power outlet; it can amplify voices and instruments, and play music from a flash drive.
